The Slash 9.8 GX AXS T-Type Gen 6

The Slash 9.8 GX AXS T-Type is a carbon enduro bike that doesn't shy away from hair-raising downhills. Its frame made of OCLV Mountain Carbon and the chassis with a high pivot point and 170 mm travel take even big chunks unfazed and excel on steep ramps and difficult Climb with brilliant traction. A 29˝ front wheel and 27.5 rear wheel promise playful handling, while the strong RockShox suspension package solves every task on the trail with ease. In addition, it is equipped with a wireless SRAM GX AXS transmission, which also switches precisely under load.

... you want a carbon enduro bike that shows its teeth on the downhill and impresses with its agility on the uphill. You also want the traction and stability of a high-pivot chassis and plenty of suspension travel to handle thick roots and big jumps. Future upgradability is important to you and you love the advantages of wireless gears and carbon wheels.

  • Its high-pivot chassis offers absolute control on challenging descents, while finely tuned anti-squat values and the oversized pulleys ensure amazingly efficient propulsion.
  • The long-stroke suspension travel (170 mm front and rear) is more than sufficient for big jumps and rough rock fields.
  • OCLV Mountain Carbon frames and wheels make the bike light and stiff in the right places to plow smoothly and quietly through the toughest terrain.
  • The bike is equipped with a mullet wheel configuration from the factory. This means a fast-rolling 29er front wheel is combined with a stiff, agile 27.5 inch rear wheel. Alternatively, a 29 inch rear wheel can be mounted for more speed.
  • Thanks to the adjustable lever ratio, screwed lower shock mount for switching to a complete 29er setup and separately available angle-adjustable headset, the Slash can be adapted to your terrain and riding style.
