Assos Zegho G2 glasses dragonfly copper

With a weight of only 27.5 grams, “G2” is the evolution of the most advanced glasses for cycling. As part of a development process together with Carl Zeiss Vision Sunlens, Assos has revolutionized the view of the bicycle with “Zegho”.

The original Zegho glasses laid the foundation for better vision when cycling - first-class glasses with tunnelView (TV) technology and an adaptable frame - perfected in precision manufacturing. Assos has gone even further with “G2” and has revised the shape, given the lenses a new tint and integrated solutions for wearers of optical glasses without sacrificing the tried and tested clear vision and comfort that the original was characterized by.

The design of the new G2-V-TORIC glasses has a lower profile compared to their first generation, but they are still rimless, which creates a crystal-clear view and a feather-light feeling. Assos has worked very closely with Zeiss on two new lens models and made them adaptable to all lighting conditions. "Interceptor Black" is ideal for bright light and the "Dragonfly Copper" is the better choice for changing conditions, possibly with little light. Combine the glasses with the supplied second crystal lenses ("Crystal" stands for crystal clear vision) and you are well equipped for all conditions.

Thanks to their new triggerClick interior design, the glasses and the temples form a unit. The triggerClick is a mechanism with which spectacle lenses can be changed easily and safely by pressing (“push-to-change”), without exerting pressure on the lenses. Assos has incorporated its clickFace elastomer and a completely adaptable nose bridge along the temples. So you can benefit from an almost individually tailored seat regardless of the shape of your head. And those who rely on corrective lenses can look forward to the additional optical lenses included with the "G2", which can be seamlessly combined with our glasses.

“Zegho” is the joint success of nine European specialty eyewear manufacturers. Each one contributes a specially made component. Each pair of glasses is produced by hand in Italy, with 22 individual steps in production and the active involvement of 37 employees.

triggerClick
With the help of the intuitive push-to-change system of the "G2", the lenses can be exchanged quickly, safely and without any pressure being exerted on them. All you have to do is press the button on the inside of the temple to remove the glass and insert the new lens.

G2 glasses
The new G2-V-TORIC lenses from Carl Zeiss come in a lighter, slightly steeper shape with a lower profile compared to the original, but are still rimless, which creates an uninterrupted view and a feather-light feeling.

Additional optical glasses
If you are dependent on corrective lenses, you can look forward to the light additional optical lenses included with every “Zegho G2”. They can be seamlessly combined with the actual lenses by snapping them into place at the top of the nose bridge, creating a balanced, comfortable fit.

Ri-Pel
All V-TORIC lenses from Carl Zeiss are equipped with "Ri-Pel" on the front and back, a highly water and oil-repellent coating so that you can perform at your best in any weather.

TR-90 bracket
The new TR-90 temples have a wide interface at which they are connected to the lenses, which ensures that this point remains longer. Thanks to the zero-pressure shape, the temples adapt comfortably to the shape of your head, and the slightly structured, soft clickFace components ensure a feather-light and at the same time secure grip.

Nasal bridge
The fully adaptable nose bridge is made of Assos` well-adhering clickFace elastomer, which adapts to your nose and guarantees an almost tailor-made, firm fit. The upper part of the nose bridge is also used to attach the additional optical lenses and ensures that the lenses are held securely.

100% UV protection
When you wear Zeiss sunglasses, your eyes and eyesight are protected by absorbing harmful UV-A and UV-B rays.

Dragonfly Copper glasses
The reddish tint ensures a balanced color ratio and thus offers high contrasts in changing and poor lighting conditions. Light transmission: 15.9%, light conditions: medium brightness, contrast: increased.

Crystal glasses
Lenses for a clear view in poor light conditions and at night. Supplied with every “Zegho G2” as second glasses. Light transmission: 90%, light conditions: low brightness, contrast: neutral.
