Make your mark
The DEORE M6100 is another member of the SHIMANO 12-way component family. After the mountain bike flagship XTR, which set benchmarks, and the market launch of DEORE XT and SLX, the DEORE rounds off the 12-speed lineup from SHIMANO.
In terms of price in the entry-level and lower mid-range range, the DEORE hardly shows any compromises when it comes to performance, quality and reliability. Almost everything that distinguishes the “big siblings” XTR, XT and SLX in terms of technology, innovation, performance and range of functions can also be found in the DEORE 12-way components. Starting with the HYPERGLIDE + shifting technology, which represents a real quantum leap when shifting to the small sprocket, through DYNAMIC CHAIN ENGAGEMENT + for optimal chain hold on single chainrings with low-friction running, to the new, stiff brake lever construction with additional support on the handlebars, which is still suitable for More consistent braking performance with either two or four-piston calipers, the DEORE brings everything that characterizes modern mountain bike groups.
Leaving traces and lasting impressions, making a mark, realizing your own individual, individual experiences of success, whether as a hobby biker on the weekend or as a professional in the toughest races in the world:
That is the core of "Make your Mark", the campaign motto for SHIMANO's 12-speed mountain bike systems. And the DEORE fits seamlessly into this motto. Mountain bikes can also be realized with the DEORE M6100 for the leaner wallet, which enable even more riders to celebrate “their” experiences of success and to set an example in the saddle.

I-Spec EV
I-SPEC EV creates a clean, action-optimized cockpit layout that helps more drivers to concentrate and be more flexible.
Thanks to the larger setting range, the I-SPEC EV levers can be placed in the optimal position for a wide variety of driving styles (ENDURO, XC etc.), driver preferences and driver anatomy (hand and arm posture).
With I-SPEC EV, the brake clamps are laid further inwards. This creates an additional contact point between the handlebar and brake lever, which increases the stiffness of the lever. This additional support significantly improves control of the bike and braking. There is space between the clamp and the support point for other accessories mounted on the handlebars.
