Sram have redesigned their hood and lever architecture, making groundbreaking advancements in fit for all hand sizes and easy access to powerful and smooth braking from anywhere on the bar. Truly independent reach and contact point adjustment allows for a highly customized setup with no risk of pinching your fingers or hitting the bar, regardless of your settings.

Better finger wrap on the hood means less fatigue on long days, and bonus buttons let you move or control ANT+ devices with your thumbs. All that and we still managed to shave 83g. Not only is the caliper stiffer, but it's also lighter, and it offers phenomenal pad clearance for friction-free operation.
