The BB7 MTB is an uncompromising disc brake for riders who are looking for a system without hydraulics. The mechanical system is easier to adjust and maintain than a hydraulic disc brake and is also convincing in wet conditions. The set comes without brake levers and cables. These must be ordered separately if required. The brake can be used both as a front wheel and a rear wheel brake.

Manufacturer reference: The Avid BB7 MTB disc brake is only designed for the transmission ratio with a V-brake lever.
