• Even the longest travel is useless without the right kinematics, which is why Specialized put them in the foreground when developing the Stumpjumper EVO design. Using learnings from the Enduro's chassis design and more than 1,000 hours of development work on the trail and in the chassis lab, they've vastly improved uphill pedaling performance while creating a capable, efficient and lively bike that every rider aspires to. In addition, the anti-squat behavior has been increased so that the chassis resists bobbing better. Angular obstacles are now also swallowed better, which means that less speed is lost
• The Stumpjumper EVO's S-Sizing geometry is their most progressive yet. Long, low, slack, a fork with little offset, a steeper seat tube angle - all this makes your ride a better experience. However, different riders have different demands on the bike, which is why the geometry of the Stumpjumper EVO is fully customizable with six different settings. Not only can the bottom bracket height be adjusted by 10mm, but also the head tube by up to two degrees. If you want to ride a 27.5" rear wheel in connection with a 29" front wheel with the EVO - no problem, there is also the perfect setting for this
• Rider-First Engineered™ frames use a frame size dependent approach to keep ride characteristics identical across all sizes. Regardless of whether you are a small S1 driver or a giant on the S6 bike - the driving characteristics remain the same. Cornering like it's on rails and balanced stiffness between the front and rear wheels - all with the lowest possible weight
• When Specialized introduced the SWAT™ box on the Stumpjumper in 2016, they increased the storage space and from now on had enough space for puncture protection equipment. With the new Stumpjumper they kept the same design cues but increased the volume and added a SWAT™ bladder that allows you to hide an additional 650ml of water in your down tube. • In keeping with its DNA, our Stumpy EVO has a mullet setup with a 29-inch front wheel and a 27.5-inch rear wheel. The advantages of a larger wheel at the front with more grip and better rollover behavior and a smaller, more maneuverable wheel at the rear are a perfect fit for a playful riding style. The Stumpjumper EVO is at home in the bike park and spins completely freely when you let go of the brakes on the trail
• Even the longest suspension travel is useless without the right tuning of the shock and the right kinematics. That's why the design of the new Stumpjumper EVO prioritizes the performance of the kinematics. With the knowledge gained from the Enduro's chassis design and more than 1,000 hours of development work on the trail and in the chassis lab, we have significantly improved pedaling efficiency uphill while creating a more powerful, efficient and lively bike. We have also increased the anti-squat value so that the chassis resists bobbing better. Square obstacles are swallowed up with ease, which means less speed is lost. • The Stumpjumper EVO geometry with S-sizing is our most progressive geometry yet. Long, low, flat, a fork with little offset, a steeper seat tube angle - these are the requirements for modern mountain biking. However, different riders have different requirements for their bike, which is why the Stumpjumper EVO geometry can be individually adjusted to your needs with six different settings. For example, the bottom bracket height can be raised or lowered by 10 mm and the head tube angle can be changed by up to two degrees. All of these can be adjusted independently of one another.
