Whether you want to give the new line another try or are reviving that last feature because it wasn't quite enough for the perfect shot, the design of the M5 aluminum frame swallows everything you throw at it and does it with a grin. The Status 140 doesn't have a split personality, its different wheel sizes should only offer you the greatest possible driving pleasure.

The 29″ front wheel provides plenty of traction in the corners, while the short rear end, which is optimized for 27.5″ wheels, whispers in your ear to take the next table with a whip.

• The active FSR suspension design of the Status ensures an absolutely stable bike and harmonizes perfectly with the FLOAT X Performance shock from FOX, which is equipped with Specialized's Rx Trail Tune. Its twin-tube design allows oil to flow through two separate channels during compression and rebound. The FLOAT X offers an incredible amount of support for heavy impacts and buttery soft feeling, so you stay fit for the jumps where the style points really count
• With the aim of keeping maintenance time and effort to a minimum, Specialized not only used oversized bearings for greater durability, but also used a consistent bearing size for all joints. This makes rear triangle service and bearing replacement child's play. The SRAM DUB bottom bracket with thread (BSA) completes the all-round carefree package
