DT Competition Race Straight Pull spoke

One of the most versatile spokes in the DT Swiss range. The special strength of the DT Competition Straightpull is the result of cold forging. This makes it extremely durable and thanks to the thinner middle part 62g lighter than a spoke with a continuous diameter. The balanced stability / weight ratio allows a very versatile use.

Double butted
These spokes have two different diameters. The spoke is partially butted by cold forging. As a result, the diameter becomes smaller and thus enables a reduction in weight while at the same time improving the elongation values.

Straight pull
To achieve an ideal balance between weight and stability, many DT Swiss wheels use different forms of straight pull spokes. Straight Pull spokes do not require a radius bow, eliminating a weak point. Nevertheless, they can be centered and replaced with standard tools.
