Cross-country racing puts a lot of demands on the wheels. You need a set that offers you fast and efficient climbing, controlled descents and secure grip on rough terrain. The Crossmax SL S is a lightweight, all-round alloy wheel that meets all of these requirements.

Thanks to a special rim profile with a 25mm internal width and our patented ISM4D technology, this wheel increases your bike's performance at a more affordable price than carbon wheels. The ISM4D process machines the rim in the areas of least stress to reduce weight without compromising strength. Our Black Shield technology protects the rims from scratches and dents so you can race through rock and root fields without worry. Our patented Fore technology with a fully sealed rim bridge means you don't need rim tape, saving you 30 grams per wheel and avoiding the hassle of tape when fitting tubeless tires.

The new Infinity hub is lighter and has a new spoke arrangement that increases stiffness and thus improves power transfer. The Instant Drive 360 freewheel with double pawl ensures quick engagement.

The rear hub is compatible with Shimano HG9, Micro Spline and SRAM XD drivetrains. The Crossmax SL S is only available in 29 inches with 6-bolt or Center Lock brake rotors. It is compatible with a 15x110 front axle and a 12x148 rear axle and comes with valves, spare spokes and accessories.

The ISM 4D rim machining reduces weight and closes the gap to carbon rims without compromising strength. The lighter rim greatly reduces inertia and enables instant acceleration.

25mm wide hookless rim profile optimized for lower tire pressure resulting in improved grip in all conditions. Optimized for modern XC tubeless tires from 2.1" to 2.30". Black Shield treatment protects the rims from bumps and scratches.

Most user-friendly tubeless system

The rim with Fore technology is fully sealed and does not require rim tape, making it easier to install and change tubeless tires. An intact upper rim bridge increases the stiffness and durability of the rim.
