Does my sensor need a Bluetooth connection when my bike is not moving? Of course not, one would say, but many Bluetooth sensors keep the connection up unnecessarily, even when there is no data that can be transmitted. So far, the only option left was to end the Bluetooth connection manually or to change the button cell every 3 weeks. IPM (NC-17 Intelligent Power Mode) puts an end to this. When the tour is over, the SC # 5 automatically clears the connection. When the next tour begins, the SC # 5 automatically re-establishes the connection. It's that simple. IPM is an autonomous function of the SC # 5 and works with all apps and bike computers that support Bluetooth 4.0.
