Continuous speed comparison

A special feature of the BC 8.0 WL is the continuous comparison between the current and average speed. This is represented by an arrowhead: an upward arrow means the cyclist is traveling faster than average, while a downward arrow indicates slower than usual. Once the average speed is reached, the indicator disappears.

Wireless data transmission

Thanks to the wireless (WL) coded radio transmission developed by SIGMA, no cables are needed. A radio transmitter attached to the fork continuously and without interference transmits the speed measured at the wheel to the receiver of the BC 8.0 WL.

Easy-to-read display

With its 31 x 39 mm display, the BC 8.0 WL is the perfect size to give cyclists a clear overview of their data. The large digits are easy to read even while riding. This bike computer is a real eye-catcher, whether on a trekking bike, a city bike, or even a child’s bike.

Weatherproof with long battery life

The BC 8.0 WL is waterproof and weatherproof, making it ready for use at any time. Cyclists also don’t need to worry about the battery life of this wired speedometer. The integrated, replaceable button cell battery (CR 2032) is sufficient to power the BC 8.0 WL for well over two years.

Multi-day tours

The BC 8.0 WL measures travel time and distance even on longer bike tours. This makes it easy to track the entire distance of a multi-day cycling holiday.

Quickly assembled

The handlebar mount for the BC 8.0 WL and the speed sensor can be quickly attached to the bicycle using the included cable ties. The bike computer can be easily removed and stored at any time.

Easy to use

Setting up and operating the BC 8.0 WL is incredibly easy – a single button is all it takes. Navigating through the functions is always effortless.

Language talent

The BC 8.0 WR is a small language genius. The full-text display allows you to choose between seven languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, or Polish.

Tire size individually adjustable

Thanks to the predefined tire sizes, setting up the BC 8.0 WR is effortless – from small children’s bikes to 29″ bikes. It’s also possible to enter the tire circumference with millimeter precision.
