In the end of the 80s' the equipment for bicycles still looked very comfortless, then chemist Uli Fahl realized: he needs own components that make bikes better, prettier and above all lighter. He was not the only one thinking like that. Many people complained about the leaden bikes and so he founded the company Tune in 1989. Just in time to the first emerging light weight construction wave Uli presented a sensationally light quick clamp. This and a bag full of aluminium screws were the first product range of the company Tune. Very fast the bike components became a must have for every ambitious driver because it was essential to fall below the 13-pound limit.
Nowadays you can find the components of Tune on the bikes of countless professionals and amateurs. Jan Ulrich, Mike Kluge, Sabine Spitz, the Fumic brothers and even downhill pro Marcus Klausmann drove and drive to endless victories with Tune.
